Diversidad Dominicana es una organización no gubernamental, registrada bajo las leyes dominicanas el día 5 de abril del 2016. Su objeto es trabajar y promocionar los derechos de las personas Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Trans e Intersexuales (LGBTI) en la República Dominicana; lograr el posicionamiento del tema en la región; e incidir por el respeto de los derechos LGBTI en la República Dominicana y en las Américas.

Está conformada por profesionales entregadxs a trabajar por el respeto integral de los derechos de las personas LGBTI, para fortalecer su rol como entes dentro de la sociedad y a educar para lograr una sociedad que sea coexistente, inclusiva y que acepte su naturaleza diversa.

Diversidad Dominicana is a non-governmental organization, registered under the Dominican law on April 5, 2016. Its purpose is to work for and to promote the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex (LGBTI) people in the Dominican Republic, to achieve the positioning of the subject in the region, and to advocate for the respect of LGBTI rights in the Dominican Republic and in the Americas.

It is made up of devoted professionals working for LGBTI people’s rights, to strengthen their role as entities within society, and to educate individuals in order to attain communities that are more coexistent, inclusive and accepting of their diverse nature.
